Fashionating nature

Originally focused on fashion illustration, Carrie di Costanzo developed interest in botanical art began after visiting an exhibition. She attended numerous botanical drawing and painting workshops with Mindy Lighthipe. She began to paint and draw from nature, while learning the importance of creating a scientifically accurate and aesthetically pleasing picture.
